The Coral Thief – Rebecca Stott

Science, history, theft and love!

Daniel Connor, a young medical student, makes his way to post revolutionary Paris to study with the acclaimed Dr. Cuvier at the Jardin des Plantes. On his way there he becomes the victim of a theft that will ultimately change his life and the direction thereof forever.

Stott does a wonderful job of mixing real and fictitious characters that become the center of a story filled with imagination and rich detail.

Smart, cunning, and filled with human emotion. The Coral Thief is an engaging read that will appeal to any reader.
